New entrant teacher

West Eyreton School, located in North Canterbury is looking for an inspiring new entrant teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting our tamariki and whānau as they transition to school by making them feel welcome, nurtured and supported.  

Promoting an inclusive, positive learning environment is high on our priority list, as is providing a needs-based quality learning programme. Skills, knowledge and experience teaching the structured literacy approach would be beneficial.

We are seeking someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills that is proven to be able to work collaboratively within a staff.  We have a supportive school community, dedicated staff and highly engaged tamariki.  Our school vision; Excellence through Effort, Example, Enterprise and Empathy guides all that we do.  

The successful applicant will start at the beginning of term 3, 2022.  Closes 10 May, 4pm.

We are seeking applications for a skilled junior school leader who is passionate about student well-being and achievement.  The successful applicant will be someone who can engage, inspire and support our Board, staff, tamariki and school community to achieve our strategic goals.

West Eyreton School, located in North Canterbury is welcoming and beautifully maintained, we have large open areas to play in, exciting adventure playgrounds, a student-initiated school vegetable garden, a community library and a covered community pool, to name a few of our unique features.
